Sales Associate

Vaco, in partnership with the leading apparel company in wrestling, is seeking a dynamic Team Sales Representative with a comprehensive understanding of the teamwear market and the athletic industry. Reporting directly to the Head of Team Sales, the ideal candidate will be responsible for outfitting athletic organizations with practice, competition, and spirit wear apparel across various levels, from youth to Olympic competitors.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and qualify leads to acquire new customers while maintaining existing customer relationships.
• Cultivate and expand upon existing customer relationships to drive additional business opportunities.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, discounts, and delivery schedules to meet customer needs.
• Generate weekly Lead Report detailing progress with existing and prospective customers.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with design, purchasing, accounting, and other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Be available outside of regular work hours, including weekends, for customer inquiries and internal communication.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree with 0 years of sales experience or 2+ years of experience or more in sales or related fields.
• Wrestling knowledge or experience as an athlete, coach, recruiter or in a similar role is advantageous.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships, follow up consistently, and meet tight deadlines.
