RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • As the Hardware Assistant Manager, you’ll play a critical role in promoting sales while ensuring that all guests receive high levels of guest service.
  • Monitor the progress of the team members in establishing and achieving set retail objectives based upon the company standards and policies.
  • Promote a culture based on excellent guest service, promotions, and sales.
  • Maintain adequate and appropriate department records at all times.
  • Know and have the ability to cost out all material to determine proper retails.
  • Possess sufficient knowledge and ability to teach others all fundamentals of hardware sales.
  • Assist Hardware Department Manager with duties related to marketing, inventory ordering, shipment, receiving, and scheduling as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • 2-4 years’ retail sales and management experience.
  • Strong background in guest service and leadership.
  • Hardware background important.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and follow-through skills.
  • 18+ years of age.
