VP, Communication and Brand Officer

Summary:

The VP, Communication and Brand Officer is responsible for creating and maintaining ENB?s reputation through overseeing a communication strategy that engages current and potential customers, potential investors, shareholders and employees. Ensures favorable impressions of ENB through effective communications to customers, employees and shareholders. Develops and maintains a collaborative relationship with internal stakeholders to develop a Communication strategy. This position will report to the SVP, Chief Marketing Officer and will work closely with other members of the ENB Marketing Team.

• Develop and implement a comprehensive brand marketing plan aligned with the objectives of ENB?s marketing and corporate strategies in order to increase brand awareness, communicate ENB?s unique value proposition, create favorable impressions of ENB and maintain brand consistency. This plan will be developed by collaborating with subject matter experts, client-facing teams, marketing team members and other stakeholders.
• Lead all ENB community relations activities designed to enhance ENB brand image as a bank that builds community. This will include developing strategies to maximize publicity and sales enablement from support of community organizations through contributions and participation in local events. It will also require leadership of the ENB Contributions Committee and responsibility for the ENB Contributions and PR budgets.
• Provide leadership for all communications designed to enhance ENB?s customer experience by providing clear and concise information designed to highly differentiate ENB. This will be done by providing customers with information and guidance to assist them with their financial wellbeing, understand how to conveniently access banking services and demonstrate our appreciation for their business.
• Oversee the development of internal communications designed to foster culture, keep employees updated on items of importance and distribute information and resources designed to aid employees in helping customers feel the difference at ENB.
• Responsible for investor communications and activities designed to demonstrate value of investment in ENB Financial Corp to generate demand for our stock. This includes the annual report and investor presentations and communications.

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor?s degree and 8-10 years Communication experience, preferably in financial services.
• Superior writing, copy-editing and proofreading skills, as well as the ability to translate complex topics into reader-friendly copy and produce engaging content on challenging financial subjects.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, a team-orientation, and the ability to develop trusted relationships across a global, complex firm.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities concurrently, produce quality work under tight deadlines, and move projects forward with minimal direction.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional work environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, monitors, mouse, keyboard, phones, printers, scanners, photocopiers, filing cabinets, calculator, and fax machines. Due to physical location of this position, phone ringing, and people conversing, it may be difficult to hear at times and therefore easily distracting.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Flexibility of schedule to meet business needs is required.
