Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)  position details:

• Per Diem Shift & Schedule: 12 hours/shift, day or night shifts are available

• Location: Seattle,Everett, WA

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and document changes in patient activity and symptoms.

• Assist with mobility and conduct range of motion exercises.

• Provide basic wound care and execute dressing changes as directed by the Registered Nurse.

• Facilitate patient admissions, discharges, and transfers, including moving patients to and from bed to the gurney or wheelchair.

• Transfer patients and transport essential items (belongings, valuables, blood products, supplies, pharmaceuticals, equipment, and specimens) to and from various locations within the hospital.

• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations related to patient care in the Medical Surgical unit.

• Perform any other duties as assigned within the Medical Surgical context.

Requirements

• Current Washington state CNA license.

• Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification by date of hire.

• Two (2) positive work references.

• Successfully complete and pass a background check and drug test.

• Availability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures.

• Minimum of 18 months of Hospital or Acute care experience.

• Ability to work well in a fast-paced Hospital environment.
