Accounts Payable Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is on the hunt for a strong Accounts Payable Specialist to join our client in Columbus, OH. The ideal candidate will come in with at least a few years of accounts payable experience. They will also have will have strong organizational skills and have an ability to multitask. This position will focus on entering, coding and processing vendor payments, monitoring an accounts payable inbox, and reconcile vendor statements. This position will sit onsite.

Responsibilities

• Review and record invoices from vendors to ensure accuracy in billing

• Process expense reports from employees Identify discrepancies and escalate in appropriate manner

• Have knowledge of approved vendors and policies to avoid paying unauthorized invoices and expenses

• Request invoice approval from appropriate managers

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of accounts payable experience

• Strong understanding of General Ledger system and Accounts Payable processing

• Comfortable with formulas and formatting in Excel

• Manufacturing industry and 3 way matching experience preferred

• Detail oriented

Pay Details: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour
