Certified Nursing Assistant CNA

Location:  Meeker, CO 81641

Length: 13 weeks

Shift: 12hr AM or PM shift

Shift Information:
Days 6AM TO 6:30PM/Nights 6PM to 6:30AM

CNA Pay rate:

All Taxable: $24/hr

Or

Travel with Housing Stipend: $10/hr taxed + $576/wk tax-free travel stipend (10/16)

**RADIUS RULE: Traveler’s perm address must be at least 65 miles away from the facility**

Responsibilities and Duties

·                     Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary, and ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; and providing fresh water and nourishment between meals.

·                     Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight, testing urine, and recording intake and output information.

·                     Provides patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting patients; answering patients’ call lights and requests; and reporting observations of the patient to the nursing supervisor.

·                     Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.

·                     Maintains work operations by following policies and procedures of the facility

·                     Protects the organization’s value by keeping patient information confidential.

·                     Enhances nursing department and facility reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

·                     Checks residents/patients frequently to assure that their personal care needs are being met.

·                     Treats all residents, visitors, and staff with courtesy

·                     Maintaining professionalism at all times

Requirements:

·                     Resume - LTC Experience Required

·                     Must hold an active CO CNA License

·                     Current CPR/BLS

·                     Skills checklist

·                     2– current -Supervisor references

·                     Physical (within the last 12 months) 

·                     PPD (within the last 12 months) 

·                     MMR, Varicella, Hep B, Tdap/Flu (or decline) 

·                     CNA Exams 

·                     Copy or driver’s license and SS card 

·                     Must be able to pass background/ urine drug screen
