1st shift CNC Plasma Operator

We are seeking qualified candidates for a CNC Plasma Operator for our partner in Paris, KY. You could start your new path with us!

Shift: 1st  Monday - Thursday 5:00am-3:30pm 10 hr shifts. 

Payrate: $18.00 - 19.00 /hour based on experience

What you'll do: 
 

• Setting up and operating our CNC plasma cutting machine to produce precision metal parts
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine cutting requirements
• Program and set up the CNC plasma cutting machine to produce accurate and high-quality parts
• Load and unload material from the machine
• Monitor and adjust the cutting parameters to ensure consistent quality
• Inspect parts for defects and make necessary adjustments to the machine
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the CNC plasma cutting machine
• Ensure that safety standards are being followed at all times
• Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production targets and deadlines
• Maintain accurate records of production runs and material usage
• Continuously look for ways to improve the efficiency and quality of the cutting process

   

  What we need from you: 
   

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or over
  • Must comply with client’s substance abuse policy
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience operating a CNC plasma cutting machine
  • Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
  • Proficiency in using CAD/CAM software to program and make edits in the machine
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality parts
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to CNC plasma cutting operations
