Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Institutional Cash Management Analyst to join our team. The primary focus of this role is to handle cash management tasks for institutional investors, particularly large corporate investment entities. The ideal candidate will have experience with keying client wire payments, managing funding, and performing day-to-day tasks related to the application of payments to various client accounts. Additionally, the role involves covering for associates on leave within the Production team, requiring adaptability and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle cash management functions for institutional investors, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in processing transactions.
Key client wire payments and respond promptly to sales and other Line of Business (LOB) requests.
Manage funding activities to support operational requirements and maintain liquidity.
Perform day-to-day tasks related to the application of payments across different client accounts.
Utilize the Symphony chat system to communicate effectively with sales teams and partners in various LOBs.
Maintain a checklist of production tasks and ensure completion within specified timelines.
Monitor and manage a shared inbox to address inquiries and requests from internal and external stakeholders.
Provide coverage for associates on leaves of absence within the Production team, maintaining productivity and meeting production targets.
Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Previous experience in cash management, treasury operations, or financial services, preferably within an institutional setting.
Proficiency in keying client wire payments and managing funding activities.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
