Senior Staff Accountant- In Office

Our client is manufacturing company in the top of their industry. They are seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to play an integral role on their team. Responsibilities

- Perform general ledger reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial data

- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

- Prepare journal entries and maintain supporting documentation

- Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations for process improvements

- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for financial reporting

- Assist with internal and external audits as needed

- Support the finance team in ad-hoc projects and initiatives

Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate accounting or a related field

- Strong knowledge of financial concepts, accrual accounting, and general ledger reconciliation

- Proficient in using accounting software,

- Familiarity with SOX compliance requirements is preferred

- Solid knowledge and understanding of AR and AP processes.

- Familiarity with manufacturing inventory, job costing and bills of material
