Job Summary and Qualifications

• Perform cardiac ultrasound without supervision to include, but not limited to transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms Sonographers will have technical skill of studies as well as instrumentation, maintenance of equipment function and safety policy and procedures.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
• High School Graduate / GED
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer, or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
• Minimum one-year experience in Echocardiography.
  
• Tech could assist with stress test in the stress lab.
