Kelly® is hiring Machine Operators to work at a Food Manufacturing company in Harrisonburg, VA.
  • Weekly pay
  • Benefits Available after 30 days
  • Temp to Hire
SHIFT OPTIONS: there is flexibility for 8, 10 or 12 hour shifts.
  • 7 pm to 7 am Monday-Friday $20 per hour
  • 7 am to 7 pm Monday-Friday $18 per hour
  • 7 am – 3:30 pm Monday-Friday $18 per hour
  • 7 pm – 3:30 am Sunday-Thursday $20 per hour
Mandatory OT every other Saturday

What’s a typical day as a Machine Operator?
• Operate various machines (Extractors, Evaporators, Sharples, Mixing Tanks etc.) to produce food products
• Follow safety and OSHA guidelines as specified by USDA, FDA, DEQ, and Ariake
• Complete paperwork including documenting and reporting concerns to your supervisor
• Perform basic preventive maintenance on equipment
• Pack products
• Assist other operators in the production department as time permits

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a high school diploma or GED
• Have 6 months of  Warehouse, Manufacturing, Production, Factory, or Machine Operation experience
• Have good command of the English language, both written and spoken
• Have good verbal, written and organizational skills
• Can lift 50 pounds repeatedly and climb ladders if needed
