About who needs care: Can stand and transfer to chair and bed, but does not walk. Uses transport chair to move to various places in home. Activities are reading newspaper and television. Lives with wife, who assists and manages the day, but cannot help her husband physically move around.
About the care needs: Sociable, but not too chatty. Ability to prepare or help prepare meals. Help with toileting and dressing.
