1st Shift CNC Machinist

Job description

1st shift, 6a-4:30, 4-10's M-Th, some OT on Friday

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Program, set up, and operate a CNC lathe/mill to produce product according to print specifications by selecting the appropriate tools, materials and machining processes
• Troubleshoot programs including speeds, feeds and tooling
• Verify and document in process work orders.
• Ensure quality product by using necessary measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers.
• Set-ups, mills/lathes, G code, Fanuc, blueprints, GD&T
• Routine preventative maintenance on equipment
• Meet production deadlines by following manufacturing schedule and procedures

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma
• Minimum 1-3 years CNC experience or completion/enrollment in a CNC training program
• Proficiency in Math and attention to detail
• Team player

Summary
The CNC Machinist position requires a skilled individual with a strong foundation in blueprint reading, mechanical knowledge, and manufacturing processes.
