CNC Machine Operator

Responsibilities

Read blueprints/drawings, then set up and create the components based on those blueprints.
Modify and create CNC programs at the machine as needed/performs set-ups in the cell.
Studies and interprets drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations, and set up requirements.
Work with engineers on machining critical parts to keep production equipment running correctly.
Follow all safety and security guidelines (have the required PPE)
Performs loading of cutting tools and CNC offsets, indicates workpieces, and establishes Work offsets/part origin.
Working independently with little to no supervision and as a team
Operate machines productively and safely to promptly produce parts that meet quality requirements at the lowest cost while minimizing the waste of materials and resources.
Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and machine materials.
Be competent with computers and use maintenance software to complete work orders correctly.
Qualifications

Must be Bilingual, speak, read, and write in Spanish and English
Must have the ability to read a tape measure and use calipers.
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
CNC machining experience with 2D and/or 3D
Outstanding physical hand-eye coordination
Problem-solving skills
Proven success in maintaining quality and service in a high-paced setting.
Steel-toed shoes/boots always

Pay: $20.00 per hour

10 hour shift
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
