Fabrication Manager

DaNite Sign Company is looking for a Fabrication Manager to join our team. This position will be responsible for overseeing the daily operation of our fabrication department while working with estimating and sales teams. The Fabrication Manager will be responsible for ensuring that our employees are well-trained and productive, that we meet or exceed quality standards and that projects are consistently completed on-time.

Essential Duties:

• Experience: A proven track record in sign fabrication or custom metal fabrication, with expertise in materials, techniques, and industry best practices.
• Leadership: Exceptional ability to motivate, guide, and mentor a diverse team while fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Problem-Solving: Sharp problem-solving skills to navigate challenges and ensure smooth project execution.
• Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to guarantee that every sign produced is done right and produced on time
• Communication: Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal teams and clients, ensuring project objectives are met effectively.

Education & Experience:
·4+ years of experience in hiring, leading & training skilled teams of fabricators
·Direct experience in a custom fabrication environment.
·Experience in implementing Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen or similar process improvement approaches.
·Excellent problem-solving skills.
