Job DescriptionCompany Description
Accountant needed by a stable, established, and growing manufacturer in Jasper, Georgia.
This Accountant will work with the CFO on the following duties:
- Full Cycle Accounts Payable
- Billing and business-to-business collection efforts as needed
- Month-end close process including journal entries for accruals, prepaids, and inventory
- Account reconciliations including bank, credit card and sub-ledgers
- Payroll and Human resource paperwork needs for outsourced Payroll and related benefits administration
- Prepare Excel spreadsheets and analyses as needed by the CFO for special projects or tax preparation.
Required:
- Accounting degree strongly preferred
- QuickBooks experience is a must
- Advanced Excel skills
- 2+ years of full-cycle accounting experience
- Inventory/Manufacturing experience is strongly preferred
- Payroll experience is strongly preferred
