The Installer is responsible for the installation and warranty service of commercial door products.  The Installer works under the general direction of the Commercial Door Department Supervisor.

Day to Day:

  • Installation of commercial door products, bathroom partitions, and bathroom accessories
  • Warranty repairs and adjustments of commercial door products
  • Have fun and ENJOY coming to work!
  • Responsible for pulling and loading commercial door products and bathroom accessories.
  • Responsible for delivery of commercial door products and bathroom accessories to job site
  • Coordinate staffing needs for field installations.
  • Position may require pushing, lifting, carrying and moving material in excess of 100 lbs.
  • Requires standing for long periods of time as well as extensive mobility.
  • Track and monitor inventory supplies on a monthly basis.
  • Travel is required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skill Set:

  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions and procedures.
  • Ability to read/write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Detail oriented, timeliness and an efficiency-based approach. 
  • Team player, strong communicator and advanced interpersonal skills.
  • Build positive relationships with both clients and internal teams.
  • Ability to appropriately prioritize tasks to meet varied and conflicting organization demands.
  • Working knowledge of materials and job-site processes used within the construction industry.
