Job Summary:

As a Production Manager, you'll be responsible for

Job Responsibilities:

  • Leads, mentors, supports & trains project managers and carpenters of varying skill levels.
  • Interacts with the sales team, project managers, carpenters and clients to thoroughly understand project requirements.
  • Assist management in overseeing the entire production department
  • Responsible for the overall schedule of all jobs, including assigning the project manager, carpenters and contractors necessary to complete the job.
  • Oversees all full kitchen, bathroom and laundry room remodeling projects.
  • Preview jobs prior to starting and go over all items with customers to inform them of our processes.
  • Responsible for accurate site measurements.
  • Preview CAD’s, cabinet & material orders with the project manager, designers & carpenters.
  • Ordering hardgoods like door fronts, boxes, rails, hinges, plywood, trim, etc.
  • Responsible for loss prevention by verifying that all materials used on the project are accurate and match the job sheet materials list.
  • Ensures that jobs stay on budget and all change orders are accounted for.
  • Ensures that jobs stay on schedule and any changes are appropriately handled to ensure the project stays on schedule.
  • Regular site visits to ensure the quality of product installation.
  • Ensures that quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques are met.
  • Motivates and monitors the progress of work being performed on the project by employees and contractors
  • Maintains constant knowledge of project dates, time, and schedules and notifies all necessary parties daily
  • Communicates with clients via JobTread regarding the project start date, provide instructions on how to prepare for our arrival, project updates, time of contractor arrival and when the project installation is to be completed.
  • Respond to all customer inquiries within a 12-hour timeframe.
  • Request sign-offs for clients during the different phases of the project.
  • Resolves client and/or contractor grievances when needed.
  • Provide project updates on a daily basis via JobTread
  • Report any order discrepancies for projects or issues in JobTread
  • Prepare final job reports analyzing job profitability and areas of improvement for the Company
  • Oversees the CNC Cut Center to ensure production runs smoothly, ensure proper operation and maintenance
  • Main point of contact for technical support for the CNC Cut Center
  • Works on special projects as requested.
  • Demonstrate commitment to all safety standards.

Compensation: Dependent on experience.

Job Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience in Cabinetry and Kitchen, Laundry & Bathroom Remodeling.
  • 5+ years of experience in residential project scheduling and job management
  • Experience using JobTread (or a similar Project Management Software)
