HVAC Service Technician

We are looking for an HVAC Service Technician to join our team! You will install, service, and repair heating and air conditioning systems.

Responsibilities:

• Install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
• Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in HVAC or other related fields
• Familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams
• Ability to handle physical workload.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.

Required Skills / Characteristics / Ethical Standards:

• Must maintain strict confidentiality regarding all Crawford Mechanical Services personnel issues, customer relations, financial information, and business practices and/or strategies.
• Must possess above average mathematical and verbal and written communication skills.
• Must possess proficient computer skills, adept in the use of certain software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Computer Ease
• Must maintain appropriate, professional, and positive customer and employee relationships.
• Must maintain a clean well-groomed appearance (business casual)
• Must abide by the Company Drug, Safety and Harassment Policies
• Must be well organized, a logical thinker, able to always focus on the tasks and deadlines at-hand and attentive to details.
• Must be adept at prioritization of tasks and able to function well in a pressure-filled environment.
• Must strive to offer constructive opinions and be able to accept constructive performance evaluations.
