Senior Retirement Operations Leader

Greater Columbus, OH area

Position Summary

As part of the Regional Retirement Operations Team, this position is responsible to ensure that the day-to-day operations of the 401(k) Savings Plan, Retirement Plan, Retirement Medical Plan, Student Loan Program, The Regional Retirement Gift Program, and the Employee Stock Purchase Program are operating efficiently, effectively, and in a compliant manner.

· Applies advanced knowledge to ensure the necessary controls and procedures are developed and adhered to in the day-to-day administration of the retirement programs so that they are operating in a compliant and efficient manner.

· Accountable for all timely for deliverables related to annual external plan audits, including year-end plan audits, annual Financial Statement Audits, and Nondiscrimination Testing

· Accountable for all timely deliverables related to the annual SOX DAMP Report audit & annual census data requirements

· Accountable for the day-to-day operations related to the Savings Equalization Plan & Pension Equalization plan

· Collaborates with internal stakeholders within HR and Business Resource Groups to determine both financial education and retirement education needs regionallay. Work with external vendor partners to develop and execute the ongoing Financial and Retirement Education Strategy

· Responsible for development and delivery of retirement reporting, including, but not limited to, retirement projections, retirement actuals reporting, and 401(k) participating data reporting

Job Requirements

· 8+ years of progressive related experience in retirement plan administration

· Advanced knowledge of ERISA Qualified Retirement Plan Administration, Nonqualified Plan Administration, Retiree Medical plans, and Stock Purchase plans

· Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred

· Advanced knowledge of Excel

· Advanced knowledge of Core HR and Payroll systems

· Excellent with verbal and written communications

· Intermediate conflict management skills & problem-solving skills

· The ability to work independently to resolve issues when identified

· Data Analytics
