Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Field Service Business Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our Field Service Team by managing various day-to-day tasks, including:
- Handling quoting and sales order management
- Providing sales support and overseeing small, short-term projects
- Coordinating with the outside sales force to address customer requests
- Collaborating with Engineering to facilitate the creation of new part numbers and products based on customer specifications
- Following up with customers regarding active quotations and existing orders
Experience in construction or as a general contractor is advantageous, as is direct experience in estimating or bidding for such projects.
This role involves interaction with various departments within our medium-sized organization, so strong interpersonal skills are essential. Additionally, comfort in a technical product environment is preferred.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to manage discounts, percentages, and currency conversions effectively
- Typing speed of at least 50 words per minute with 90% accuracy
- Capability to read and analyze business information
- Excellent presentation and customer interaction skills
