Summary:
Interstate Advanced Materials is looking for a CNC Operator to help us grow in our fabrication and machining capacity. This role will require flexibility to setup and work with different machines such as CNC Router and panel saw.  The right candidate will be an excellent communicator with a positive attitude, willing & capable of growing with the company.

Responsibilities include:
  • Have a great attitude. A positive attitude and a team mentality is vital to our success
  • Run and sometimes setup CNC routers and panel saw
  • Maintain quality control documents and update setup information
  • Provide feedback to maximize programs for better run times, material yields, and scrap rates
  • Keep work area clean and tidy
  • Accurately read & interpret prints
  • Check and measure parts to ensure quality & accuracy
  • Work as a team with other employees to help the branch reach its goals
  • Other duties as required

Requirements:
  • CNC experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Forklift experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to read & interpret prints/drawings
  • Communicate positively & effectively with coworkers
  • Mathematical skills: Add, subtract, multiply, divide. Compute rate, ratios, & percentages
  • Ability to work overtime as necessary.
  • Attention to detail
