St Julien Hotel & Spa is looking for hard-working and outgoing Food Runners who will be responsible for ensuring that quality standards of all guest food orders have been met before serving items to guests in Jill’s Restaurant.

Essential Job Functions:

• Understand the importance of, and adhere to, Four Star/Four Diamond and Preferred service standards.
• Maintain excellent knowledge of restaurant menu items in order to ensure food orders are complete, accurate, and look visually appealing before being sent out for service.
• Stock and maintain all service stations.
• Assist servers and provide general clean-up when needed.
• Possess thorough and up-to-date knowledge of important, relevant information from other Hotel departments in order to accurately answer all guest inquiries.
• Greet every guest and associate with eye contact and a sincere, friendly smile; use guest names at every opportunity.
• Assist in maintaining overall cleanliness of the restaurant.
• Other duties as required by supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Previous restaurant experience is preferred, but not required.
• Ideal candidate is someone friendly and outgoing who can work well both as part of a team and autonomously. Must be able to provide fast and courteous service while maintaining luxury standards.
• Must be able to stand for several hours at a time and lift/push/pull up to 25 lbs. on a frequent basis.
• Valid TIPS certification required, or must be obtained within 45 days of hire.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

COMPENSATION: $14.42/HOUR + GRATUITY
