Retail Salesperson at Kaufman Shoes

Kaufman Shoes in Memphis, TN. is looking for retail salespeople to join our strong team. We are located on 6515 Poplar Ave. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and hard-working. This person will be responsible for understanding extensive product knowledge. Other daily duties may include: Maintaining store cleanliness, merchandising products, receiving inventory, and running various cash register transactions

Responsibilities:

• Ensure a superior customer experience.
• Accurate operation of the cash register for ringing up sales.
• Develop knowledge of the different products in the store, with the ability to share that knowledge with others.
• Assist customers by demonstrating products, emphasizing features and benefits, and answering customer questions
• Assist with keeping the sales floor clean, organized, and updated based on sales and marketing plans.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures
• Maintain scheduling commitments

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• 1-2 years of Customer Service experience preferred
• Demonstrates effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Self-starter who can prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced, team environment
• Must be able to stand and walk for the length of their shift.
• Ability to carry three shoe boxes at a time.
• Friendly and outgoing personality
• Excellent verbal skills
