St Julien Hotel & Spa is looking for hard-working and outgoing Bussers for Jill's Restaurant who will be responsible for providing the initial setup of table service, clearing guest tables, and offering general assistance to guests and other service staff as needed.

Essential Job Functions:

• Understand the importance of, and adhere to, Four Star/Four Diamond and Preferred service standards.
• Perform all opening and closing duties; inspect service stations and guest tables to ensure they have been set to standard specifications.
• Greet every guest and associate with eye contact and a sincere, friendly smile; use guest names at every opportunity.
• Serve drinks and replace or refill as necessary.
• Clear dirty dishes from previous guest and reset table for next guest.
• Stock and maintain all service stations.
• Possess thorough and up-to-date knowledge of all restaurant and menu information in order to accurately answer all guest inquiries.
• Remain knowledgeable on important, relevant information from other Hotel departments.
• Assist servers and provide general clean-up when needed.
• Assist in maintaining overall cleanliness of the restaurant.
• Other duties as required by supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Previous restaurant experience is preferred, but not required.
• Ideal candidate is someone friendly and outgoing who can work well both as part of a team and autonomously. Must be able to provide fast and courteous service while maintaining luxury standards.
• Must be able to stand for several hours at a time and lift/push/pull up to 25 lbs. on a frequent basis.
• Valid TIPS certification required, or must be obtained within 45 days of hire.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

COMPENSATION: $14.42/HOUR + GRATUITY
