Gulf Islands Waterpark is the premier family entertainment destination on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Featuring miles of slides and fun we provide a great summer time getaway for visitors from all over the nation. We are conveniently located in the Gulfport Sportsplex where families comes to play. Each and every team member works together to assure our guest have a great experience. We help Team Members deliver a high level of friendly service and a safe and clean park. Our primary objective is to take care of our guests. This is a position that requires hands on efforts to protect our guest safety at all times. Lifeguarding calls for supervision of the park area while facilities are in use. Lifeguards prevent, report, and call for supervisors to document all accidents. In addition, lifeguards must supervise the water attractions, clear and secure the pool at closing, curtail any misuse of the facility or inappropriate actions, inspect their zone and equipment on a daily basis to ensure guest safety, and enforce special participant rules. The nature of this position has a tremendous amount of guest contact and we expect sensational service to all of our guests.
