Janet Fernandez is an award-winning State Farm Agent with over 33+ years of State Farm Agency experience looking to grow our excellent, hardworking team.

As a Marketing Service Assistant, your creativity, and strategy promote the continued growth of our agency. Your diversified marketing shapes our brands public image and cultivates existing client relations. Your cross-functional campaigns will expand the value generated by producers, innovate our customers experience, and strategically position our agency whether on social media or at community events!

While promoting our team, our insurance products/financial services, and the good we offer to our community, you also gain unique insights invaluable to your career growth. As an inventive and sales-minded professional, we are eager to incorporate your skillset into our agency.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
  • Marketing experience preferred
  • Able to make presentations to potential customers
  • Proficient in social media, google reviews, website, and email content generation
  • Self-motivated
  • People-oriented
  • Creative in problem-solving and goal achievement
  • Excellent in collaborative communication with team members and customers
RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Work with the agent to help manage the website and social media content.
  • Work with the agent to identify and support local community events.
  • Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals
  • Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services
  • Work with the agent to develop and maintain a digital marketing system to promote the office.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30 AM 5:00 PM located in both Cooper City/Davie and Weston, Fl.
Part-Time Employment - Must be able to work within Agency's Hours of Operation.

Compensation: $15 Per Hour

This agency serves the entire state of Florida with a focus on re-locations to South Florida. Locally, we serve the communities of Ft. Lauderdale, Cooper City, Davie, Weston, Pembroke Pines, Plantation, Sunrise, Tamarac, and Coral Springs. We offer car, home, business, life and health insurance along with 96 other products and services. We also offer free notary and fax services along with a bilingual team of English and Spanish.

Over the years the agency has achieved State Farm awards such as Crystal Honor Agent, SVP Agent, Chairmans Circle Agent, and Ambassador for Life. In the community she enjoys volunteering for Habitat for Humanity, Boward County School Business Partner Program and High School Mentor Program. Janet frequently speaks at local high schools to young drivers about car insurance. Her passion for education also extends to mentoring over 50 interns, assisting in the training and development of eight employees through the Agent Aspirant program with three now overseeing their OWN agencies!

Janet has been happily married for over 37+ years to her husband who shares a similar educational background both having Business Majors at FSU. They both have three great children (UF Gator, an FSU Seminole, and a neutral Boston College third child). After having survived a horrible a plane crash and a terrible car accident she is thankful for every day and wants to spread her gratitude and zest for life by helping others with proper coverage. She feels fortunate to help people manage their risk and take care of generations of families financially.
