Salary: $24 to $30 Based on Experience

We currently have opportunities for Class A CDL Drivers for End Dump, Tractor Trailer, Side Dump and Belly Dump to join our team. We are seeking hard-working motivated individuals who are looking for a long-term career in the construction industry.

 

Key Functions

  • Safely deliver materials to all customers and contractors
  • Must adhere to all safety policies and procedures
  • Maintaining appropriate paperwork and log books
  • Knowledgeable of D.O.T regulations
  • Conducting and documenting Pre-Trips and Post-Trips
  • Observe and report mechanical and safety failures
  • Complies with federal and state traffic laws
  • Maintains vehicle appearance by cleaning and washing
  • At times, participate in labor assignments
  • Maintain a safety-first mindset
  • Works well under the direction of Dispatch and Construction Supervisors

 

Qualifications

  • Valid Class A CDL Driver’s License is required
  • Driving experience strongly preferred but open to training the right candidate
  • Experience in Construction is preferred

  • Positive Attitude and be dependable
  • Team oriented with the ability to work independently when necessary

  • Ability to trouble shoot
  • Must be able to work various shifts, days and overtime as needed

 

Physical Requirements

  • Entering and exiting the truck repeatedly entire shift
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and 25 lbs. regularly
  • Push/Pull of up to 50 lbs. minimal of two (2) times a day
  • Move safely, quickly, and perform duties with repetitious movement
  • Sit and/or stand up for long periods of time
  • Reach with hands and arms
  • Bend at the waist, kneel, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull
  • Climb ladders/steps
  • Must be able to tolerate all weather elements, loud conditions, and vibrations

 

Compensation

  • Hourly rate of pay $24 to $30 an hour based on experience
  • Medical Insurance
    • Year 1 – Employer covers 80% of total (family) premiums
    • Years 2 & 3 – Employer covers 90% of total (family) premiums
    • Years 4 or more - Employer covers 100% of total (family) premiums
  • Employer Contribution toward Health Savings Account (HSA) for those who choose a High Deductible Health Plan
  • Dental and Vision Insurance
    • Cost Share 50/50

  • Daily Per Diem when working away from Kalispell, MT
