POSITION SUMMARY:
The purpose of this position is to provide Club operational oversight during daily club opening and closing hours.
Available Shifts:
Monday Thursday: 4:30am 8:30am; 6:30pm 10:30pm
Friday: 4:30am 8:30am; 5:30pm 9:30pm
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS INCLUDE:
- hourly, based on relevant experience to the role.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Be the point of contact for any in-Club emergencies. Manage emergencies in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
- Point of contact for any delayed club openings, early club closures, due to weather or other impacts. Work with home office and OGM on proper member and staff communications.
- Be the point of contact for any customer escalation issues. De-escalate, resolve, and ensure follow-though of issues to resolution.
- Ensure proper opening and closing of the club. Ensure coverage for employee call-outs and no-shows.
- Completion of the Opening/Closing MOD Checklist; including responsibility for pool chemical readings, marketing monitors are operational, and ensuring building is secure.
- Completion of opening and closing one-off tasks assigned by Member Services Supervisor and/or OGM due to projects or operational challenges. Liaison with vendors/contractors as needed including, but not limited to, night janitorial.
- Monitor club operations and programming to ensure member and guest expectations are met. Intervene and correct as needed.
- Complete injury and accident reports.
- Provide accurate information regarding all areas of club operations with a helpful, friendly and courteous manner.
- Utilize all opportunities to become familiar with club operations and all club programming.
- Keep current on activities and procedures by reading and signing daily memo log at the beginning of shift.
- Assist with Club Check-In, program registration, and phone calls as needed.
- Assist with Locker Room lock-outs as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Member Services Staff consistently exhibit exceptional member service and ability to utilize current procedures.
- Excellent phone skills; ability to handle intermittent heavy phones.
- Efficient, well-organized, able to handle a variety of duties simultaneously.
- Strong background in problem solving, selling and quality service skills.
- Previous customer service experience.
- Experience leading a shift or being a MOD preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate in a friendly, professional manner under pressure.
- Ability to work in a multi-faceted organization.
- Professional image through dress, posture and poise.
- Assertive with outgoing personality.
- High School Diploma or equivalent skills gained through experience.
- Minimum age 18.
- Occasional bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Frequent standing, walking, reaching.
