Production Associate 3PL- Full Time

Summary:

As a Production Associate for our 3PL business, you will be responsible for picking and/or packing by hand a variety of products and materials. Other duties may include unloading containers, assembling, addressing, stamping, and shipping merchandise or material; receiving, unpacking, verifying and recording incoming merchandise or material; and arranging for the transportation of products.

Typical work schedule is Sunday through Wednesday, 6:00 am to 5:00 pm

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits.
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
• Report any discrepancies.
• Unloading containers.
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
• Uses dollies, forklifts, and other moving equipment to transport shipments in facility.
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Proven working experience as a production worker, preferred.
• Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems, preferred.
• Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods, preferred.
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Able to work in a noisy environment with fluctuations in temperature.
• Must be able to work from foot and from standing and/or stooping for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to pass a drug and background check.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.

Work Environment:

• Time will be spent in a stockroom, warehouse, or loading dock receiving and transporting deliveries.
• Moderate to heavy physical labor such as lifting and moving heavy items are required on a regular basis.
• The temperature in the warehouse/production area varies according to external climate.
• Standard 40-hour work-week applies.
• Based on the above essential functions this job is considered to be a safety-sensitive job function.

Pay Rate:

• $14.00 Hourly Average
