Job Summary:
Briggs Automotive Group is currently seeking a driven and experienced Parts Consultant Advisor to join our team in Topeka, Kansas. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the fast-paced and ever-evolving automotive industry. As a Parts Consultant Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our valued clients, while also promoting and selling our top-quality automotive parts. This role offers a competitive base salary with commission opportunities, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
Hours- 7am – 5pm, Mon-Friday. And every 4th Saturday 7am-2pm
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary ranging from $50,000 to $65,000 per year
- Commission opportunities based on sales performance

Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, both in person and over the phone
- Listen to customers' needs and recommend appropriate automotive parts and accessories
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Utilize product knowledge and sales techniques to upsell and cross-sell additional parts and services
- Maintain an organized and clean parts department to ensure accurate inventory and efficient operations
- Collaborate with service and sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction and maximize sales opportunities
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and product knowledge by attending training and workshops
- Meet and exceed individual and team sales goals
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or technical training preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the parts automotive industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service and sales skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient computer skills and experience using inventory management systems
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
