Job purpose

The Trajan Marketing department is seeking an entry-level Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This role provides essential support to marketing efforts regarding events, client communications, presentations, and basic graphic design.


To be successful in this position, you'll need to be a self-starter, demonstrate attention to detail, and willingness to learn. Due to the event responsibilities of this role, willingness for occasional travel and flexibility for (limited) evenings/weekends are a must for this position.


Duties and responsibilities

  • Marketing Support:

    • Collaborate with the marketing team to support the implementation marketing plans, campaigns, and strategies.
    • Assist in the creation and editing of marketing materials (ex. brochures, presentations, forms, advertisements, and digital content).
    • Collaborate with other departments to create branded presentations that effectively communicate key messages for both internal and external audiences.
    • Planning and organizing Client Journey promotions (ex. Birthday greetings), by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements, establishing contacts, developing schedules and assignments, and coordinating mailing lists.
    • Support the planning and coordination of on- and off- site seminars, webinars, client appreciation events, and other marketing events.
    • Support special department projects on an as-needed basis

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in marketing, graphic design, advertising, or related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (emphasis on PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat
  • Experience with basic graphic design software such as Canva.
  • Be coachable and willing to learn new skills to grow within the company

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Adobe Premiere and After Effects; Davinci
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom and InDesign
  • Experience using Monday.com or similar project management system
  • Experience work in a financial field is a plus.
