Essential Functions

  • Ability to perform all CSR/Teller functions.
  • Supervise Teller/CSR staff and provide remote branch support for all branches.
  • Monitor and improve procedures for the new account opening process.
  • Develop and provide ongoing training for CSRs.
  • Monitor new account and revised account exceptions.
  • Follow up with employees and managers, as needed.
    • Research and correct all COD or SDB rejects on Non-Post report.
    • Oversee SDB services, maintenance, training, and procedures.
    • Research and correct discrepancies within product disclosures and other new account documents.
    • Update account disclosures, as required.
    • Download, review, and train CSRs on Fiserv bulletins/updates.
    • Review interest rate changes.
    • Monthly review interest rates for accuracy.
    • Review IRAs annually and oversee required minimum distributions.
    • Manage charge-offs on deposit accounts.
    • Manage Card-at-Once.
    • Serve as back-up for customer service calls relating to debit cards: ordering, reordering, and reporting as lost/stolen.
  • Send and approve wires.
  • Gather requested data for various audits.
  • Work with auditors and respond to new accounts and deposit compliance audits.
  • Manage teller operations for Mt. Pleasant North
  • Approve schedule.
  • Manage vault.
  • Review and approve transactions and reports.
  • Buy/sell money from Fed.
  • Update currency shipment log.
  • Troubleshoot teller issues and assist with integrated teller, cashier's checks, overrides, gift cards, and TCRs.
  • Perform Quarterly Cash Counts and Safekeeping audit for all branches.
  • Maintain and update teller new hire packets.
  • Establish teller training.
  • Correspond with TIB credit card processing staff and assist CSRs with marketing.
  • Enter holidays in Integrated Teller module (SIR) yearly.
  • Send ODP reports and complete maintenance.
  • Report charged-off accounts to ChexSystems.
  • Complete teller transaction, teller over/short, and teller statements reconciliations monthly.
  • Calculate High-Rate Deposits quarterly.
  • IOLTA quarterly
  • Send New Time Deposits to B quarterly.
  • Manage/Test Integrated Teller and BPM updates

Additional Responsibilities

  • Perform other duties, as assigned.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills

  • Associate degree or equivalent hours, preferred.
  • Five years banking experience required.
  • Two years supervising experience required.
  • Interpersonal skills to represent the bank in a positive way in dealing with customers and other employees.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of bank records and customer transactions.
  • Moderate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • This position requires lifting up to 25 lbs.
