Job Description
River Valley Radio Inc., a communications dealer and emergency vehicle up-fitter, is looking for an
EQUIPMENT INSTALLER to join our team!
Candidate: Must have knowledge of vehicle components. Reading of assembly instructions with the ability to comprehend and follow them is required. Candidate must have good attention to detail and neatness, basic computer skills, and their own standard hand tools. A clean and valid driver license is required as a new fully stocked service vehicles are provided for on-site work. Good customer relationship and communication skills are also necessary. Basic knowledge of two-way radios, while not required, is a plus.
Job: Disassemble and reassemble vehicles, install warning lights, sirens, two-way radios, and various other equipment. Troubleshoot and repair wiring/electrical equipment in vehicles. Document time spent, work performed, and parts used per job. Additional tasks as needed.
