Summary: The successful Processing Lab Associate candidate will be responsible for the tasks required for chews production. This position will be responsible to demold and prepare chews for packaging and clean, sanitize, and maintain all tools, equipment, and work surfaces used to produce chews.

Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned.

  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Responsible for process Sanitation Gowning & Hygiene, keeping an organized work area and performing daily tasks such as sanitizing working area
  • Identify and consolidate formulated materials into approved container and labeled with appropriate batch
  • Removal of formulated materials from mold
  • Wash pots and pans
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Spray molds with release agent
  • Operate equipment per SOP
  • Make citric acid solution in accordance with SOP
  • Make sorbitol solution in accordance with SOP
  • Adhere to departmental, site and corporate safety policies.
  • Responsible for Sanitation for GMP Compliance, facility and equipment cleaning in a clean room manufacturing environment

Training Required:

  • Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Sanitation for GMP Compliance
  • Good Documentation Practices
  • Process Sanitation Gowning & Hygiene
  • Task specific SOPs
  • Handwashing

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D minimum. 2+ years of applicable experience in filling, manufacturing, and packaging pharmaceutical or food products a plus.
  • Language Skills
  • Ability to read and understand technical procedures, standard operating procedures and work instructions.
  • Ability to accurately record information, metrics and data in a standardized format.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from coworkers, management and regulatory agencies.
