Good news! Family Health Care (FHC) Pharmacy has an opening for a Staff Pharmacist Float for all of its locations!

Primary Responsibilities:   

• Acts as the "coach" of the pharmacy, helping their team reach goals, targets, and quality measures
• Performs minimal basic compounding
• Completes patient requests for prescriptions and non-prescription scripts 
• Contributes to and aids in the development of pharmacy care systems
• Provides Comprehensive Medication Review
• Ensures adequate levels of medications and supplies in the pharmacy
• Maintains required records of controlled substances

What we look for in a Pharmacist

The right individual should be able to provide professional and personable interactions with patients, staff, and visitors. In addition, they should be able to adapt their priorities as situations change based on the needs of the patients and department. Finally, pharmacists must be able to identify and provide helpful solutions to patient care concerns and problems.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
• Licensed to practice in the state of Michigan
• Prior 340B experience preferred
• Prior retail pharmacy experience preferred
