Position Purpose:
To manually set up, break down, and service all meeting rooms in accordance with Hilton's high standards of quality.
Essential Functions:
- Communicate with the supervisor throughout the shift to be aware of the work.
- Setup all meeting rooms to the specifications of the guest. This includes considerable physical activity in transporting awkward and heavy materials such as staging, tables, chairs, dance floors, etc., from storage areas to meeting rooms.
- Supply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and freshwater.
- Break down all meeting rooms where meetings have concluded and return to the storage closet so the room will be available to be reset for the next function.
- Maintain an established cleaning schedule of meeting rooms and ballrooms so the rooms stay presentable at all times.
Supportive Functions:
- Perform any general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned by the supervisor to adhere to health standards.
- Perform other duties as requested, such as cleaning up unexpected spills, or special guest requests.
Experience:
No prior experience required. Prior hospitality experience preferred. Hiring both full-time and part-time.
Other:
Due to the seasonal and business nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules and hours to reflect the staffing needs of the hotel.
