*Position will be supporting Bridge Credit Union as well as our Network and Core Systems Provider, CU*Answers*
*Periodic travel to other credit unions in the region to perform onsite project work and support. -Valid drivers license required*
Education: (1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.
Essential Job Functions:
- Maintains network systems, installs new hardware, modifies existing hardware, and related network software and applications.
- Assist on core product implementation projects such as CU*Answers eDOC ASP new client installations and CU*Answers conversions.
- Installs and maintains peripheral devices including printers, hubs, routers, and other equipment.
- Assist on network implementation projects such as domain migrations and firewall installs.
- Provides primary support for company's network and PC/LAN servers which includes planning, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting network and system hardware and software.
- Conducts periodic diagnostics and testing to ensure optimal network function and minimal downtime. Responsible for Risk Assessments, Disaster Recover plans, and Asset management, Annual Audits, NMLS, etc.
- Manage the resources dedicated to supporting office automation, PCs and end-user equipment, network and systems security and database administration
Experience: Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, subnetting, routing) and essential server administration (Active Directory user/group management, Exchange mailbox creation).
- Strong desktop support skills, including Windows 10.
- Understanding of planning and development of large-scale technology projects.
- Knowledge of effective management techniques and methods.
- Previous data processing experience including networks, PCs, data communications, mainframe and PC programming and data organization.
- Ability to create technical product documentation for hardware/software installations, troubleshooting techniques and problem resolution
