Phlebotomist or Medical Assistant position

Madison Regional Health System is seeking a full-time or part-time Phlebotomist to be a part of the Madison Regional Health System mission: Committed to providing quality healthcare, close to home.

Our Phlebotomist is an essential part of our Laboratory team and is responsible for specimen collection, logging in, office procedures, and is responsible for receiving outpatients and office procedures who is under the direction of the chief technologist and/or department supervisor. Excellent customer service, attention to detail, great telephone etiquette, computer knowledge, and the ability to multi-task in pressure/stressful situations are essential. CPR certification is required. Certification is preferred.

Phlebotomist will work eight hour days Monday-Friday, with rotation of weekend urgent care coverage. The working conditions will be in a clean, well-lighted area, with sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, frequent repetitive motion of the hands/wrists involved. Exposure to infectious disease, body fluids, odors, and dust. Will be working with a variety of laboratory equipment.

Full-time positions come with Madison Regional Health System's benefits package and a competitive salary. MRHS offers retention pay to individuals who have worked at the facility for greater than one year. Madison Regional Health System employees receive a discount at the on-site cafeteria. Shift differential occurs 6pm-6am Monday-Friday, weekends, and holidays.
