Manson Northwest Webster Elementary School is currently accepting applications for an elementary classroom teacher for the 2024-25 school year. MNW Elementary school is a Preschool-6th grade building part of Manson Northwest Webster Community School District. The elementary school is located in Barnum which is located on Highway 7 between Manson and Fort Dodge. The elementary school uses a strong MTSS system to help guide instruction for learners. The elementary uses PBIS, enVision math curriculum, Wonders reading curriculum, and Project Lead the Way for hands on science learning.

Job Summary:

To facilitate student success and growth in academic and interpersonal skills through implementing district and state approved curriculum; documenting teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes; addressing specific educational needs of individual students by creating a flexible, safe and optimal learning environment at school; and providing feedback to students, parents and administration regarding student progress, expectations and goals.

Primary Responsibilities

Must have good communication skills, be flexible, and patient.

Strive to build strong and positive relationships with students and families

Knowledgeable of the MTSS framework

Develops and administers approved curriculum consistent with school district goals and objectives.

Develops lesson plans to maximize learning opportunities in order to meet the needs of all learners

Provides meaningful feedback of student learning, and differentiates instruction to meet individual needs.

Promotes a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to individualized and small group instruction that are aligned to building and district goals.

Organizes and maintains accurate records, grades, and reporting for all student activities, achievement and attendance as required by district procedures and applicable laws.

Continues to acquire professional knowledge and learn of current developments in the educational field by attending seminars, workshops or professional meetings, or by conducting research.

K-6 Elementary License
