As a Delivery Driver, your primary responsibility will be to maintain customer relationships, pick up and deliver products to customers in a timely and safe manner. You must represent the company in a professional manner and maintain a neat and clean appearance at all times.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Delivers product to specified locations, making deliveries in the most efficient, economical manner possible
- Maintain and help promote growth to our customer base
- Develops and maintains an efficient routing system
- Ensures sales tickets are completed
- Develops and maintains an organized and efficient loading and unloading system
- Unloads merchandise according to customers' requests
- Verifies all items listed on the sales ticket are loaded and delivered
- Provides the customer with an accurate sales ticket and collects payment if needed
- Provides customer service that will result in greater sales by greeting customers promptly and courteously, helping unload/load products, and working with customers to resolve problems
- Maintains a professional appearance, which includes wearing a clean uniform
- Delivers orders safely by following regulations, safely operating and maintaining the delivery vehicle, and using extreme caution while driving
- Interacts and communicates professionally with commercial customers
- Exhibits a commitment to punctual and regular attendance for all assigned shifts
- Contributes positively to a team environment
- Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Professional experience highly preferred
- Must have a clean driving record (less than 3 moving violations in a 3-year period; no DUI/DWI in a 3-year period)
- Must be able to operate a motor vehicle
- Must have a current, valid driver’s license in this state
- Must be able to read, white, and perform simple math
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a repetitive basis
- Must be willing and able to be exposed to dirt and dust, fumes, temperature extremes, dampness, and battery acid on a regular basis
- Must be willing and able to wear the required safety/PPE when performing duties, which includes steel toe shoes and protective gloves when handling batteries
- Neat and clean appearance
