The Pecheles Automotive Group seeks an experienced, successful Salesperson with the drive to advance quickly into a Sales Manager role at our growing Pecheles Honda New Bern Location. This individual will need to be charismatic, highly-organized, and committed to adopting our processes and practices. 

Our ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of recent (within last 6 months) Automotive Sales experience and the ability to commit to a rigorous training schedule.  This is not a desk job.  Our Managers lead by example, on their feet, meeting customers on the lot, fully engaged in every customer's experience.

Responsibilities

  • Hires, trains, motivates, counsels and monitors the performance of the Sales Team.
  • Directs and schedules the activities, ensuring proper staffing at all times.
  • Ensures that each customer is greeted as quickly as possible.
  • Implements and maintains a prospect tracking and follow-up system.
  • Assists Sales Team members throughout the sales process, building customer relationships.
  • Ensures that dealership policies and procedures are understood and followed.
  • Conducts sales training meetings.
  • Forecasts aggressive, yet realistic monthly goals and objectives for individual salespeople and provides them appropriate support and guidance.
  • Assists in development of improvement plan for salespeople.
  • Ensures salespeople maintain a high customer satisfaction rating.
  • Contacts new owners within 24 hours of delivery to ensure complete satisfaction with sales and delivery process. Addresses any concerns or complaints immediately.
  • Understands and complies with federal, state and local regulations that affect vehicle sales.
  • Monitors customer activity. Trains and helps improve the performance of salespeople. Learns advanced systems and methods for becoming a sales manager.

Requirements

  • Two years of RECENT automotive sales experience required.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Professional appearance and work ethic.
  • Ability to work well in a process driven environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid NC Driver License and a good driving record.
  • Satisfactory completion of Drug Screen and Background check.
