OVERVIEW

The main objective of this role is to support San Antonio Citizens Federal Credit Union in fulfilling its mission of serving our member owners by meeting their financial service requirements. To accomplish this, the employee must deliver prompt and precise service to both our owners and employees in a professional manner. The position entails a range of responsibilities, including handling electronic funds transfers (EFT), automated clearing hours (ACH), wire transfers, and debit card processing.

Salary Range

$17.75 to $22.55 / hr. depending on experience.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Contribution to Credit Union Goals

  • Team members are charged with providing exemplary service to the owners all day every day.

Essential Duties

  • Execute outbound and inbound wire transfers.
  • Address internal and external research inquiries promptly.
  • Oversee the Credit Union's debit card program, including managing disputes and conducting research.
  • Assist members and team members with electronic services such as Reg E disputes, Bill Pay, Online Banking, P2P, and secure messages.
  • Manage member account adjustments.
  • Handle incoming mail and execute the Branch Image Capture process.
  • Process subpoenas and legal document processing.
  • Conduct daily review and settlement tasks for ACH and Share draft processing.
  • Handle stop payments and ACH disputes.



Security/Compliance

  • Complete annual compliance training.
  • Successfully pass PC training modules assigned with a minimum score of 80 percent on each module.
  • Comply and follow Bank Secrecy Act regulations.



REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, alongside strong interpersonal abilities; adept in telephone etiquette for professional interactions with owners and team members
  • Strong organizational capabilities enabling effective multitasking.
  • Must possess a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient typing and calculator skills
  • Ability to work both independently under general supervision and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Flexibility to accommodate varying work hours as requested by management.
  • Aptitude for performing mathematical calculations.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum two years' experience working in financial services.
  • Experience in back-office financial services operations a plus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Must be able to sit for an extended period.
  • Must be able to utilize/view a monitor for extended period.
  • Must frequently use a keyboard to enter data.
