Packaging Materials Inc. has an immediate opening for an Account Manager for our manurfacturing facility in Cambridge, Ohio.

The Account Manager provides product information and customer support to prospective and current customers, increasing sales and marketing initiatives through outbound and inbound customer and prospect calls. The Account Manager provides excellent customer service and problem solving for customers both internally and externally.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develops new accounts through prospecting, networking, cold-calling and referrals
  • Provides sales support to existing accounts and obtains new orders
  • Expands the customer base
  • Develops and maintains solid customer relationships
  • Communicates the status of orders and customer concerns to sales team and management daily
  • Maintains and enhances product and technical knowledge in the plastics industry
  • Follows up on leads and application opportunities
  • Conducts proactive outgoing sales calls
  • Develops and maintains effective internal interdepartmental relationships
  • Coordinates quoting, samples, artwork and development of inquiries for professional and timely response to customers
  • Analyzes and resolves customer complaints
  • Contributes to the team
  • Maintains a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Adheres to all Company safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Works scheduled shifts with predictable and reliable attendance, adhering to department schedule
  • Performs various special projects and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Two years' customer account management with a track record of obtaining and maintaining sales
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience
  • Strong math skills

Preferred

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Two years of CRM experience, preferably HubSpot
  • Experience working in an ERP system
