Bus Driver and School Maintenance

We are looking for an experienced School Bus Driver to join our team! You will be responsible for operating the school bus while being attentive to traffic and weather conditions while staying on schedule and ensuring the safety of the children.
Do you hold a Commercial Drivers License or have completed a formal bus driving training? Do you have an impeccable driving record, enjoy being around children, and/or adhere to high operational and safety standards? This position maybe a good fit for you!

Responsibilities:

• Pick up and drop off students at specific local schools
• Transport students to and from Summer Camp Field Trips
• Follow safety rules as students board and exit buses
• Comply with traffic regulations to operate vehicles in a safe and courteous manner
• Report any bus malfunctions or needed repairs
• Check the condition of a vehicle's tires, brakes, windshield wipers, lights, oil, fuel, water, and safety equipment to ensure that everything is in working order
• Perform general upkeep and maintenance of the school grounds and property

Qualifications:

• Available to work in the morning and afternoon (with long break in between)
• Available to work during the Summer to Transport Students to and from Field Trips
• Preferred a CDL permit with school bus and passenger endorsement
• Clean driving record
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions, including mapping
• Must pass a Level II Background Check
• Ability to pass Department of Children and Families training
• Ability to perform basic maintenance around the property
