Hours: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays 8:30am -5pm. Tuesdays 9 am-3pm
-Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the front desk
-Register new patients and update existing patient information in the system
-Schedule appointments
-Answer phone calls, take messages, send reminder texts
- Verify insurance information and assist with insurance claims processing
-Collect co-pays and payments for services
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
Requirements
-Previous experience as a dental receptionist
- Dentrix Software Experience
-Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and reliable person
-Excellent communication and customer service skills
-Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced office environment
-Knowledge of dental terminology is a plus
-Familiarity with insurance verification and claim processing procedures is preferred
