Rivermont School in Lynchburg, VA is seeking a qualified Mental Health Associate to provide instructional support to assigned student(s) implementing assigned tasks, methods, and techniques from Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Verbal Behavior (VB) for students with emotional disabilities (ED) and/or other developmental disabilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work collaboratively with members of the multidisciplinary team to implement appropriate services.
  • Provide instructional support to students using ABA and VB techniques.
  • Maintain student confidentiality per agency policy, FERPA/HIPAA privacy rule regulations, and student/counselor confidentiality.

Located throughout Virginia, Rivermont schools provide a therapeutic educational program for students ages 5-22 in grades kindergarten through 12 with special needs, including those associated with autism spectrum disorder, behavioral challenges, and have difficulty learning in a traditional school setting.
