Caregiver (Work For an Amazing Non-Profit, 0$ Co-Pay Health Insurance, 401-K Matching, Create your Own Schedule)

We are a non-profit in home care agency that is known for "caring for our caregivers". We are seeking out another team member to care for a few clients in and around the Beaverton area! You'll get to design your own schedule, work with some awesome clients and feel appreciated for what you do!

Responsibilities

Assist the client with activities of daily living
Provide personal care services including bathing and toileting assistance, transfers, mobility, dressing and grooming
Perform light housekeeping and do laundry to help maintain comfortable and healthy living conditions
Provide companionship services to reduce senior isolation
Provide medication reminders
Plan, prepare and serve meals
Complete client’s shopping or accompany the client to do so successfully
Transport client to and from appointments
Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Qualifications

Enjoy making a difference in another's life
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Demonstrated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
Dependable to complete all assigned shifts
Prior experience in a healthcare or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
High School Diploma or equivalent
Take pride in providing high quality care
Hoyer lift experience
