Automotive Quality Auditor

Our client, a leading manufacturer in the automotive industry, is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join their team. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will be an integral part of the Quality Assurance Department, supporting various teams across the production process. The ideal candidate will possess attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to quality excellence, ensuring seamless alignment within our organization.

Job Title: Quality Auditor 

Location: Hayward, CA

Pay Range: $23.50/hr
Shift: 1pm-9pm
 

What’s the Job?

• Evaluate and disposition nonconforming materials in collaboration with the Quality Engineer.
• Complete internal process and product audits as scheduled.
• Measure components/products to verify conformance to specifications using measuring equipment such as callipers, micrometres, part specific gauges, etc.
• Provide daily reports of activities; deliver replacement parts to customer plants and perform incoming inspections as required.
• Record and retain supplier issues in the company’s quality system, initiating supplier returns as necessary.

What’s Needed?

• High School Graduate or Equivalent.
• 1-3 Years of Experience within the manufacturing industry.
• Ability and willingness to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which may require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces.
• Understanding of quality analysis techniques.
• Proficiency in computer skills (e-mail, etc.) and use of Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
