Purchasing Manager Responsibilities:

• Lead Purchasing: Drive both day-to-day and long-term purchasing efforts.
• Supplier Negotiation: Work with suppliers to enhance cost, processes, and quality.
• Cost Reduction: Craft and execute strategies to help suppliers meet cost-saving goals.
• Team Leadership: Set department goals and guide the team to hit targets and KPIs.
• Quality Control: Ensure suppliers meet our quality standards.
• Collaboration: Partner closely with manufacturing teams to meet supply chain needs.
• Reporting: Create and share supply chain reports with executive leaders.
• RFQ Management: Estimate costs for new projects and evaluate RFQs.
• Data Management: Input accurate information into our ERP system.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree. Certifications in the field are a bonus.
• Experience: Proven track record leading sourcing or purchasing in a high-volume manufacturing setting.
• Negotiation Skills: Demonstrated success in finding new suppliers and strategic negotiations.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• ERP Proficiency: Ability to use ERP systems for reporting and analysis.
